Melisa McGregor
(co-founder, actor, director)


Melisa currently lives in New York City, working as an actor in film
(Nanny Diaries), tv (The Education of Max Bickford), and theater
(Labyrinth Theater Co). Melisa has written and directed "Gajeta"(2008),
winner of a Silver Medal for Excellence, Best Use of Music in a Short Film
at the 2008 Park City Film Music Festival, as well as "Fast Forward" (2003),
Best of Festival Award Winner at Portland's Northwest Film and Video
Festival. Melisa also produced two films in collaboration with inner city
teenagers while teaching for Bank Street College's Liberty Partnership
Program. Melisa is a co-founder, of Meld Productions, and is currently in
pre-production for the short film "Tramp Luck", and developing a feature
film script with writing partner David Keniston. Melisa studied acting with
Maggie Flanigan (Meisner Technique) in NYC, classical violin at the Royal
Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and has a BFA in Acting and Directing
from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada.
